Sigma 4-5KRL Robotic Centrifuge
calcActive())">
The Sigma 4-5 KRL is specifically engineered for seamless integration into laboratory automation systems. It supports robot loading and unloading, along with control via an integrated serial interface. Ideal for handling a large volume of sample tubes in clinical in vitro diagnostics (IVD) settings, as well as 96 well plates and custom tubes/bottles, it offers a compact design that simplifies integration into laboratory workflows.
Equipped with the unique patented nucket lifting device, this allows for the buckets to return to a horizontal and verticle position to aid in reliable loading/unloding of samples.
The Sigma 4‑5KRL features impressively low process times. For example, lid opening and closing takes less than 2 seconds, and the rotor indexing time is just 8 seconds. The low-profile centrifuge lid allows the Sigma 4‑5KRL to be placed directly beneath the work platform, enabling minimisation of the robot Z axis length.
